1d - Winning Choices - Dedication

“Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, he sends forth a ripple of hope….and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” Robert F. Kennedy

“Winning Choices” is dedicated to those public servants and private citizens who, while aspiring to personal and professional success and achievement, conduct their lives as beings of goodness and purpose, responsibility and accountability, integrity and inspiration, and compassion and connection as concerned world citizens. We salute those who selflessly give their time, their hearts, their minds and even their lives for the nurturing, dignity, protection and freedom of all life on this earth and even our planet itself.

Their every selfless act, every gift of service to those in need, every gesture of tolerance and rejection of bigotry, every stand against the exploitation and abuse of any sentient being or our environment, every moment of volunteering and every gift of time, money and expertise given to improve the quality of life for any and all life on our earth, every passionate action taken for fairness and justice for those without a voice, and each moment of raising oneself up to a caring, committed, vibrant component of our earth’s magnificent mosaic, becomes part of an indestructible tapestry of hope and fulfillment encircling us all in an ever strengthening ideal; the ultimate repudiation and protection against the terror, violence and exploitation perpetrated on our planet, its people and creatures. We respect and applaud those who have made their “Winning Choices” collectively and individually, to survive and succeed as more focused,, feeling, fulfilled human beings, continuing to be boldly committed to creating a better world for all beings and a proud legacy for our children, our grandchildren and all future generations.

Thank You! – Gerald G. Ryan / Jeanne Bradbury

“There is a destiny that makes us all brothers, none goes his way alone. All that we send into the lives of others comes back into our own”. – Edwin Markham
